Tsui no Sora Remake Review:

An astoundingly fascinating piece of work, and remake of Tsui no Sora, from SCA-Ji and the entire team at KeroQ in general, which tells a very interesting and captivating story. With myself only having played SubaHibi before this game, I can't really comment on the differences between the original Tsui no Sora and this remake. Though from what I have heard and seen, it's a more faithful remake or retelling of it compared to SubaHibi, which is much more its own work.

Speaking of Tsui no Sora Remake, I especially love the entire artstyle of the game, it just looks really beautiful. The CGs are all really beautifully drawn, and the developers did a great job with that part of the game, I just absolutely love the entire art. In addition to that, I also really liked the voice acting of the game, it really sounded great to me, and I very much like that every character is fully voiced. One other aspect I also very much like about the game is certainly the entire atmosphere of it. I was absolutely captivated by it, and it's, in my opinion, just fantastic and really well executed. The soundtrack of the game also really helped with that and fitted really well for the game and the atmosphere of it.

Though regarding the different views/routes of the game, I have some problems with the second view, and I think that it can be quite repetitive, because most of the text is mostly the same as in the first view. That's far from ideal, especially considering that the second view comes right after the first view, and with that, you experience more or less mostly the same directly again. The rest of the game, and especially the fourth view, is still really awesome, and overall, it doesn't ruin the game at all. But the second route is still definitely one of the weaker aspects of the game and certainly could've been better executed, in my opinion.

Compared to something like SubaHibi, this game definitely has much better pacing. SubaHibi felt, in that regard, quite bloated in some chapters, but Tsui no Sora Remake is, in comparison to that, a much more focused and more cohesive experience. Though with that, I think Tsui no Sora also misses some of the high points SubaHibi had, especially at the end of the game. But I personally probably still slightly prefer Tsui no Sora Remake regarding all of that, though both are overall fantastic experiences in their own way.

All in all, Tsui no Sora Remake was certainly a fascinating read, and while it comes with a few problems, like the second view, it was overall still a great and absolutely fascinating experience, which I certainly won't forget. And with that, I also want to thank everyone who was involved with the English fan translation of the game. They did an absolutely remarkable and fantastic job with it, and I'm very glad that I was able to experience the game through the English fan translation. I'm already really looking forward to the fan translation of the original Tsui no Sora. After playing this game, I'm certainly even more excited to also experience the original.
